Role Overview

We are looking for a Specification & Approval Manager who will focus on securing product approvals from Architects, Interior Designers, PMC Consultants, and Electrical Consultants for upcoming commercial and residential projects.

The ideal candidate should have experience in specification-based sales within the building materials or electrical accessories industry.

Key Responsibilities

Meet Architects, Interior Designers, PMCs, and Electrical Consultants for product presentations

Get Connect System products approved and specified in BOQs and project drawings

Ensure early-stage design inclusion and specification lock-in

Coordinate with technical team for drawings, cut-sheets, and compliance documents

Track project pipeline and approval status through CRM

Maintain strong relationships with consultant firms

Support sales team in converting approved projects into confirmed orders

Required Qualifications

37 years of experience in specification sales / approval-based sales

Experience in building materials, switchgear, wiring accessories, or similar industries preferred

Strong presentation and communication skills

Understanding of project lifecycle (Design Tender Execution)

Ability to work independently and manage consultant relationships

Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
