Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager based in Philadelphia, PA. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue growth opportunities, build strong client relationships, lead negotiations, and create tailored proposals. Responsibilities include driving lead generation, managing business partnerships, developing sales strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to align offerings with client needs. The role requires someone who is passionate about achieving performance targets and identifying new business avenues.

Qualifications

  • Business Development and Sales: Ability to identify new opportunities, generate leads, close deals, and develop client relationships.
  • Client Engagement and Account Management: Strong relationship-building, active listening, and negotiation skills to manage and grow partnerships.
  • Market Research and Strategic Planning: Ability to analyze market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and devise strategies to support growth objectives.
  • Strong Communication and Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Team Collaboration and Adaptability: Capability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams, adapt to dynamic environments, and deliver results.
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with tech stacks or SRE concepts is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and understand technical solutions is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles, ideally within the technology or SaaS (Software as a Service) sectors.
