What the role is
- Pure hunting role find, pitch, and close new clients from scratch
- No account management, no inbound leads, no warm pipeline handed to you
- Own the full sales cycle end to end from first contact to signed contract
- Buyers are CROs, VP Risk, Fraud Heads at NBFCs, fintechs, logistics companies, and marketplaces
- Sales cycle is 2 to 6 weeks, POC driven
What you will do
- Build your own pipeline through LinkedIn, cold outreach, referrals, and industry events
- Run discovery calls to understand how prospects currently screen merchants and where it breaks down
- Demo and manage the POC process end to end
- Convert POC outcomes into signed contracts
- Handle objections and negotiate commercial terms
- Maintain pipeline hygiene in CRM and report weekly
- Feed market intelligence back to the product team
Who you are
- 1 to 3 years of B2B sales experience in fintech, BFSI, or SaaS
- With a hunter mentality, build pipelines
- Comfortable getting meetings with and selling to senior decision makers
- Can explain a complex product simply in under 2 minutes
- Self-starter who thrives without structure or hand-holding
- Hungry, resilient, and motivated by ownership not comfort
What you need to have
- Proven track record of hunting and closing new logos
- Basic understanding of lending journeys, MSME onboarding, or merchant risk
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and Hindi
- This is a consultative, value-led sales approach, not a transactional one
- Ability to manage a POC-driven sales process patiently and confidently
What would make you stand out
- Existing relationships with CROs, VP Risk, or compliance heads at NBFCs or fintechs
- Experience selling to risk or fraud teams specifically
- Warm network in BFSI that translates to conversations on day one
- Has managed or participated in a POC-based sales process before
- Understands merchant onboarding at a logistics company, marketplace, or NBFC
