Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves market research, strategic partnerships, and working closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve business goals. This role demands someone who can effectively communicate our product propositions and USPs with conviction, make outstanding pitches and presentations, and build lasting relationships across diverse sectors. We are looking for a high-energy Business Development Manager who thrives on creating impact, building strong partnerships, and closing deals with confidence. The ideal candidate should be persuasive, charismatic, and relentless in pursuit of growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Strategy
o Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. o Identify new markets, customer segments, and partnership opportunities.
o Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
Lead Generation, Networking & Client Acquisition:
o Identify, initiate, and develop partnerships with doctors, hospitals, and clinics; corporates, wellness programs, insurers, and pharma companies; gyms, fitness institutions, schools, and food-related brands.
o Generate leads and build a pipeline through networking, referrals, and outbound prospecting.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
o Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
o Deliver persuasive pitches and presentations that clearly highlight Balance Nutrition's value proposition. o Collaborate with the sales team to convert leads into clients.
o Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
o Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasts, and KPIs.
Consultative Selling:
o Understand partner needs and position offerings to create win-win solutions.
Deal Management:
o Drive the deal lifecycle end-to-end from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closure.
Relationship Management:
o Nurture long-term partnerships and alliances, ensuring consistent engagement and value delivery.
Tracking & Reporting:
o Maintain meticulous records of pipelines, deals, and follow-ups through CRM or reporting systems.
Market Research & Intelligence:
o Stay updated to understand industry trends, competitor activities, customer needs and partnership opportunities.
o Provide insights to the marketing team for targeted campaigns and content.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
o Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies.
o Support in the development of marketing materials and sales collaterals
