About ARIS

ARIS is building core infrastructure for how construction materials are sourced, financed, and moved across India. This isn't a marketplace or a layer on top of existing systems, we're building the underlying technology that powers logistics, credit decisions, and compliance at scale.

Our platform runs live operations across 900+ pin codes and supports real-time tracking, automated documentation, and financial decisioning across a large supply chain.

As a sales professional, you'll play a key role in driving business growth by building strong relationships with contractors, developers, procurement teams, and key customers across the region.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team at ARIS as a Manager of Business Development in the building materials industry. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and rapidly growing company, and play a key role in achieving our ambitious business goals.

This is a full-time on-site role of Manager - Business Development in Bangalore. As a team member of ARIS, the Manager Business Development is responsible for prospecting, identifying, and developing business opportunities to expand our customer base. You will interact with architects, builders, construction companies, and IBHs to promote ARIS services/products and close deals. You will need to achieve sales targets, establish and maintain relationships with clients to ensure referrals and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including analysing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, including conducting negotiations and preparing sales proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure successful execution of business initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new trends and opportunities in the building materials industry.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activities to proactively identify and address challenges.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business / Supply Chain
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in the building materials industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities
  • Should have a strong geography territory knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
