Our client's project is a well-established brand in the recruitment industry who is now looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager (APAC). This is an exciting opportunity to expand your skill set, achieve job satisfaction and work-life balance.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across APAC markets (Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, etc.) for recruitment and staffing services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, hiring managers, and key decision-makers.
  • Understand client hiring requirements and provide suitable recruitment solutions for IT and non-IT roles.
  • Generate leads through LinkedIn, job portals, networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Manage the end-to-end business development cycle including lead generation, client meetings, proposal submission, negotiation, and closure.
  • Coordinate with the recruitment team to ensure timely delivery of quality candidates.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Maintain and update client databases, sales pipeline, and reports in CRM systems.
  • Monitor APAC recruitment market trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring demands.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Handle contract negotiations, service agreements, and onboarding coordination with clients.
  • Participate in business reviews, account management, and expansion of existing accounts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within the recruitment / staffing industry.
  • Proven experience handling APAC markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, or Australia.
  • Strong understanding of IT and/or non-IT recruitment processes and hiring trends in APAC.
  • Ability to generate leads through LinkedIn, networking, cold calling, and market research.
  • Experience in client relationship management and account handling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to meet sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, job portals, and sales tracking systems.
  • Strong market research and business strategy skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced recruitment environment and coordinate with recruitment teams.
