Amazon Fuse develops and leads large scale partnerships to drive growth for Amazon and its consumer services including Prime, Amazon Music, Prime Video, Audible, Kindle and more, with OEMs and Mobile carriers as our key partners. To drive growth on our large strategic partnerships at IN, Amazon is currently seeking a senior leader to lead and grow our exciting telecom partnerships at IN as Business Development Manager.

The Business Development Manager will drive the overall performance of the business by liaisoning with external partners and leading collaboration internally with stakeholders/teams to bring home opportunities for growth. Growth for the business is measured on scale, commercial efficiency and growth initiatives unlocked for the business. The role will require coordination with internal and external stakeholders across the overall Amazon mobile ecosystem to onboard customers in new use cases, execute scalable go-to-market programs and propositions and serve as key liaison for strategic partnerships. In particular, this role will focus on building and expanding our key partnerships with mobile network operators for distribution and engagement of Amazon mobile offerings (Shopping, Video, Music, Audible and Kindle applications) as well as other Amazon subscription services available.

Managing this exciting and fast growing portion of the Amazon business will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to fulfill the Amazon motto to Work Hard, have Fun, and make History.

Key job responsibilities
As part of the business development team, India your responsibilities will include the following:
. Strategy and Execution for Amazon's mobile operator relationships across key carriers in the region.
. Identifying opportunities with strategic partners, negotiating propositions and terms of distribution deals and oversee implementation of the opportunities.
. Managing the partnership constructs and supporting GTM/marketing activities to drive usage of distributed mobile applications and services in this channel.
. Successfully source and negotiate complex partnership agreements, from first contact through to signed contracts. Oversee successful implementation and optimization of all agreements.
. Move seamlessly and frequently between high-level negotiations with tier 1 mobile Operators and/or OEMs, including the management of operational details and creative promotions to increase mobile customer acquisition.
. Develop and manage relationships in the partner organization, including the delivery of Quarterly Business Reviews and executive briefings.
. Serve as primary point of contact and account relations within the Mobile Business Development team for strategic mobile partners.
. Coordinate closely with local retail country management and with worldwide mobile, technology, services and leadership product teams.
. Coordinate with other Amazon business development teams to leverage established relationships and present a unified vision to our partners in the mobile arena.
. Report on plans and results to senior management, and coordinate closely with various internal stakeholders.
. Develop strong cross functional relationships regionally and globally.

A day in the life
A day in this role would mean liaisoning with partners for growth opportunities, building out business impact with internal stakeholder teams, deep diving into partnership performance and influencing tech teams to rollout the opportunity.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
