Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager with strong experience in MSP & VMS client acquisition within the North American IT staffing market. The ideal candidate will drive new client relationships, expand MSP partnerships, and generate high-value staffing opportunities for contract and full-time placements.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition
- Identify and acquire new direct clients in North America for IT consulting and staffing services
- Develop relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and vendor managers
- Generate new business through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, and networking
MSP & VMS Sales
- Bring in new MSP partnerships and expand existing programs
- Work with VMS tools such as Beeline, Fieldglass, VNDLY, IQNavigator, PRO Unlimited, SAP Ariba, PeopleFluent
- Understand vendor onboarding processes and compliance requirements
- Manage vendor relationships and improve submission-to-interview ratios
Sales Strategy
- Build pipeline of staffing opportunities in contract, C2C, W2, and full-time hiring
- Work closely with recruiters to close positions quickly
- Negotiate rates, margins, and contract terms with clients
- Track KPIs like closures, pipeline value, client acquisition, and revenue
Market Development
- Develop go-to-market strategy for target industries like Telecom, Banking, Healthcare, Retail, Technology
- Maintain strong knowledge of US IT staffing market trends and competitor activity
- Represent 360 Technology in client meetings, events, and conferences
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in US IT Staffing Business Development
- Proven success in MSP & VMS client acquisition
- Strong understanding of North American staffing model (W2, C2C, 1099, contract, perm)
- Experience working with major MSPs like Allegis, KellyOCG, Randstad Sourceright, Pontoon, Magnit, Tapfin
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in US time zone
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing MSP or direct client contacts
- Experience selling IT consulting services (Cloud, Data, AI, ERP, Cybersecurity)
- Knowledge of ATS & CRM tools
- MBA or relevant degree preferred
