Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Business Development Professional to drive growth for SKV's high-end office interior and fit-out solutions. The ideal candidate must have a strong foothold in the commercial real estate ecosystem—including brokers, IPCs, developers, and corporate tenant representatives—and the ability to convert these relationships into high-quality business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Lead Generation
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities for commercial interior projects.
- Leverage strong industry networks with CRE brokers, developers, IPCs, and tenant representatives to generate qualified leads.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of corporate clients, project leads, and partnership opportunities.
- Capture SKV's market for the Bangalore location, coordinate with the Head Office BD Team.
Client Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers: CFOs, Admin Heads, Real Estate Heads, Project Managers, and Workplace Strategy teams.
- Conduct client meetings, pitch SKV's capabilities, and present tailored solutions for office design & build requirements.
- Understand client needs, space requirements, and business goals to recommend suitable interior solutions.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Stay updated on CRE trends, leasing movements, new office developments, and tenant expansions.
- Track market shifts, competitor activity, and project demand in target micro-markets.
- Translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
Sales Process Ownership
- Prepare proposals, coordinate with design/estimating teams, and ensure timely submission of bids.
- Drive the complete sales cycle—from lead identification to deal closure.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and regularly update leadership on progress, forecasts, and challenges.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Business Development within commercial real estate or corporate interiors.
- Strong existing network with developers, brokers, channel partners, tenant reps, IPCs, and corporate real estate teams.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to office fit-out, design & build, furniture solutions, or workplace consulting.
- Experience in selling high-value B2B solutions to corporate clients.
- Ability to understand design, BOQ, and technical details (added advantage).
