Business Development Lead (Manufacturing)

We're helping a Googled-backed AI startup hire a Factory Outreach Lead. Here are the requirements:

Role:

We're seeking a Factory Outreach Lead to leverage existing relationships in the manufacturing ecosystem to secure factory partnerships for our data collection program. You'll be the primary relationship manager between the company and factory owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activate your existing network of factory owners to secure data collection partnerships
• Identify and qualify target factories based on task diversity and data value
• Negotiate and close factory agreements
• Serve as the primary contact for ongoing factory partnerships
• Provide market insights to inform our strategy

Who You Are

3-7 years of experience in business development or sales at a manufacturing platform (Zetwerk, Xometry, Fictiv, etc.) or similar role

Strong network of 20-50 factory owner/manager contacts who trust you

Proven ability to close complex B2B partnerships

Deep understanding of manufacturing operations and economics

Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills

Excited about AI and robotics
