Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated Business Development Interns who are interested in learning about sales, client acquisition, digital marketing lead generation, and financial services outreach. This internship will provide hands-on experience in business development activities including lead generation, client communication, and market research.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation
- Generate leads for digital marketing services such as social media marketing, advertising, and business promotion.
- Generate leads for financial services including taxation, GST filing, and other related services.
- Identify potential clients through LinkedIn, social media platforms, business directories, and online research.
Client Outreach
- Conduct cold calling and cold outreach to potential clients.
- Use provided sales scripts to introduce company services to prospects.
- Send outreach messages via email, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp to connect with potential clients.
- Schedule meetings or calls with interested prospects for the senior sales team.
Sales Support
- Assist in preparing client proposals and presentations.
- Maintain records of leads, follow-ups, and client responses.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to support campaigns that generate leads.
Learning Opportunities
- Learn about Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal operations and tender processes.
- Gain knowledge of digital marketing tools and AI tools used for business growth.
- Understand client acquisition strategies and business communication.
Skills Required
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence in cold calling and client communication
- Basic understanding of sales, marketing, or business development
- Ability to research and identify potential clients
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
