Role Overview
We're looking for a BD Intern who's hungry to open doors, build pipelines, and bring Velozity's story to the right people. You'll work directly with the founding team, run real outbound campaigns, and get front-row exposure to how a fast-moving AI startup goes to market in India and beyond.
What You'll Do
- Prospecting & Outreach: Build target lists, qualify leads, and own outbound on LinkedIn and email founders, ops heads, team leads.
- Messaging: Write sharp first-touch notes and follow-up sequences tailored to how different buyers think about productivity and AI.
- Discovery Calls: Join intro calls, capture crisp notes, and help coordinate demos with the product team.
- Market Research: Identify new ICPs, map buying triggers, and surface partnership channels - accelerators, communities, SaaS ecosystems.
- CRM Hygiene: Keep the pipeline clean, track metrics (open rates, reply rates, booked meetings), and flag what's working.
- GTM Experiments: Co-design and run small experiments - new offers, lead magnets, outreach angles and report learnings weekly.
What We're Looking For
- Strong written English, you know the difference between a cold email that lands and one that gets archived.
- Active LinkedIn presence; comfortable using it as a BD tool.
- Curious about AI and how it's reshaping how teams work, bonus if you've played with tools like Velozity, Notion AI, or similar.
- Self-starter with an ownership mindset; you don't wait to be told twice.
- Comfortable with Sheets/Excel; familiarity with Apollo, HubSpot, or Sales Navigator is a plus.
