About the Internship

We are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Intern to support our growth, marketing, and strategic initiatives at Unvertex. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world business operations, where you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, engage clients, and contribute to revenue growth.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Intern role located in Hyderabad. The intern will be responsible for generating leads, conducting market research, and analysing market trends to identify new business opportunities. The role involves engaging with clients to understand their requirements, assisting in developing business strategies, and supporting customer relationship and service efforts. This position provides hands-on experience in business development activities in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities
  • Generate and qualify leads through online platforms, outreach, and networking
  • Assist in client communication, including calls, emails, follow-ups, and requirement gathering
  • Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and business reports
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute campaigns and improve brand visibility
  • Create and manage content for blogs, social media, and marketing materials
  • Track and analyse performance of sales and marketing campaigns
  • Maintain and update CRM databases, client records, and reports
  • Build simple dashboards, trackers, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, leadership) to support business initiatives
  • Contribute ideas and insights to improve customer engagement, lead generation, and overall growth

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret data and market trends
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and stakeholders
  • Experience or familiarity with Lead Generation and Market Research techniques
  • Basic understanding of business development, sales, and marketing concepts.
  • Proficiency in Customer Service practices, ensuring positive client interactions
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
