Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for energetic and driven Business Development Interns to help onboard gyms, fitness studios, and wellness centers onto the Truworth platform.

As an intern, you'll work closely with our business development team to identify partners, pitch our value proposition, collect required information, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for fitness centers joining the platform.

This is a hands-on, field + inside-sales role and a great opportunity to learn how partnerships and marketplaces are built from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Outreach
  • Identify gyms, fitness studios, yoga centers, and wellness centers in assigned locations.
  • Reach out via calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person visits (where required).
  • Pitching & Partner Engagement
  • Explain Truworth's value proposition to fitness centers.
  • Address basic queries and coordinate with senior team members for closures.
  • Onboarding Support
  • Collect and verify partner details such as pricing, membership plans, images, facilities, and offers.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and smooth onboarding on the platform.
  • Partner Coordination
  • Act as the point of contact during onboarding.
  • Help partners understand how to list and sell memberships effectively.
  • Market Insights
  • Share on-ground feedback, competitor information, and common objections from partners.

Requirements

  • Final-year students or recent graduates (MBA, BBA, or any business/marketing-related course preferred).
  • Strong communication skills (English + local language is a plus).
  • Comfortable with calling, follow-ups, and basic fieldwork.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Interest in startups, sales, partnerships, or the fitness & wellness industry.
