Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Intern (Tele calling + Lead Conversion)

Company: The Visa Horizons

Location: Remote (India-based applicants preferred)

Job Type: Internship (Unpaid with Incentives + Pre-Placement Offer Opportunity)

Industry: Immigration & Education Consulting

Function: Sales, Business Development, Client Engagement

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 3 Months

Work Schedule: 6 Hours/day, Monday to Saturday

About the Internship:

Are you an energetic communicator with a passion for sales and global exposure The Visa Horizons is looking for Business Development Interns to support our client acquisition team through calls, messaging, prospecting, and deal closure. Get trained by experts and gain hands-on experience in the booming immigration industry!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make cold/warm calls to potential leads from the database
  • Filter and qualify eligible leads for immigration and visa services
  • Send follow-up communication via WhatsApp and email
  • Conduct research and pitch suitable services
  • Support in deal closures under senior guidance
  • Maintain and update lead logs in Google Sheets and CRM
  • Provide daily reports and assist with team coordination

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Understand offerings: student visa, PR, job seeker visa, and more
  • Assist in basic market research and lead generation planning
  • Help draft proposals and sales materials
  • Participate in weekly performance reviews and feedback sessions

Requirements:

  1. Minimum education: Graduate (any stream)
  2. Excellent verbal communication in English + Tamil (Knowledge of other regional languages is a bonus)
  3. Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
  4. Tech-savvy with working knowledge of Google Sheets, Docs, and Gmail
  5. Self-driven, confident, and eager to learn and perform
  6. Freshers and candidates with less than 1 year of experience are welcome

Compensation & Incentives:

  1. Unpaid internship
  2. 5,000 incentive for every 50,000 in closed deals
  3. High performance = high earnings, even during training
  4. Opportunity to convert to Full-Time Business Development Executive role
