About the Role

Lost Compass is looking for a motivated and confident Business Development Intern to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, building relationships, and contributing to business growth.

The intern will work directly with the Business Development Executive and gain hands-on experience in lead generation, client outreach, sales support, and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold calls to potential clients and introduce company services.
  • Reach out to prospects through professional emails and follow-up communications.
  • Generate and qualify leads through research and outreach efforts.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate with potential clients.
  • Maintain and update lead databases and sales records.
  • Support business development initiatives and partnership opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and business reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client communication.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in cold calling and engaging with potential clients professionally.
  • Strong ability to write professional business emails.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales, telecalling, customer service, or business development is a plus.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach and lead generation tools is an advantage.
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
