Business Development Intern

Spicetree Design Agency (SDA) is looking for a Business Development Intern to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys conversations, networking, research, and turning potential leads into meaningful business opportunities.

• Research and identify potential clients across relevant industries.
• Build and maintain a database of prospective clients and decision-makers.
• Assist in lead generation through LinkedIn, email, calls, online research, and other channels.
• Reach out to prospects and initiate conversations about our services.
• Understand prospect requirements and identify relevant SDA solutions.
• Schedule meetings and assist the Business Development team in preparing for client discussions.
• Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication throughout the sales process.
• Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, quotations, and other BD material.
• Keep CRM/lead trackers updated with accurate information and follow-up status.
• Track market trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.
• Coordinate with the creative, digital, and client servicing teams to understand and communicate our capabilities.

• A graduate or final-year student in Marketing, Business, Management, Communications, or a related field.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking to new people and initiating conversations.
• Curious, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Good research and internet skills.
• Organised and comfortable working with spreadsheets, presentations, and CRM/lead management tools.
• Ability to follow up consistently and take ownership of assigned leads.
• Prior internship or sales/BD experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
