  • Shift timing: 12 PM to 9:30 PM (3 days a week in office)

Overview

Skalegrow is a full-stack B2B marketing agency that helps companies in the IT, tech, SaaS, robotics, and embedded systems industries grow with marketing. This internship is a structured business development program. You will be responsible for building prospect lists, running cold outreach campaigns, making cold calls, and generating qualified leads for Skalegrow across Indian and international markets.

By the end of three months, you will have run a complete outreach operation across multiple geographies and verticals, and produced a tested playbook that directly shapes how Skalegrow scales its sales function.

What You Will Do

Prospect Research & List Building

  • Build targeted prospect lists using tools like Apollo.io across manufacturing, B2B SaaS, and overseas markets (US, UK, Singapore, UAE).
  • Verify email contacts to 85%+ confidence before any outreach; maintain clean, tagged lists throughout.
  • Research company profiles, decision-maker designations, and content maturity signals to prioritize outreach.

Cold Email Outreach

  • Manage end-to-end cold email campaigns using tools like Instantly or Lemlist, including domain warm-up, sequence setup, reply monitoring, and performance tracking.
  • Run 3-touch email sequences targeting CMOs, VPs of Marketing, and MDs across Indian and overseas B2B businesses.
  • Track and report performance to ensure various campaigns help generate leads and meetings for Skalegrow.

Cold Calling

  • Make 15–25 cold calls per day to marketing heads and MDs of IT, tech, SaaS, and manufacturing companies.
  • Record every call, maintain a live objection log, and participate in weekly call review sessions.
  • Hand over any warm or interested prospect to the sales team for detailed proposal discussions.

Pipeline & Reporting

  • Maintain a Master Prospect Tracker with full call and email history, lead status, and next actions.
  • Submit a structured weekly report every Friday covering calls made, emails sent, connect rates, reply rates, warm leads, and key observations.
  • Document objections, messaging patterns, and vertical-level insights weekly into a shared playbook.

Handover & Retrospective

In Week 12, produce a clean handover package: all lists exported and tagged, all campaigns documented with performance data, and a Retrospective Report covering what worked, what didn't, and recommendations on how Skalegrow can improve its sales process.

What We Are Looking For

  • Recently completed a Bachelor's degree (preferably a 2026 graduate).
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and interacting with prospects.
  • Organized and self-driven with the ability to take ownership of all tasks and activities.
  • Prior internship experience in sales, business development, or marketing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or any CRM is a plus
  • Genuine curiosity about B2B marketing, content, and AI search and a willingness to learn.
