Job Description

Location: Bengaluru (On-site)

Duration: 6 months (with potential for full-time conversion) starting Jan 2026

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to support our sales and growth initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to lead generation, market research, customer engagement, and sales operations within a technology-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying, researching, and qualifying potential leads across target industries
  • Conduct market, competitor, and prospect research to support sales strategy
  • Support outreach activities via email, phone calls, and professional social platforms
  • Maintain and regularly update customer and lead information in CRM systems
  • Prepare sales reports, presentations, proposals, and basic commercial documentation
  • Assist with customer follow-ups and ongoing relationship management
  • Track sales activities, pipelines, and key performance metrics
  • Attend sales meetings, internal reviews, and training sessions to understand the sales process end-to-end

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, or Engineering
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable with basic research, data handling, and documentation
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Willingness to learn CRM tools and structured sales processes
  • Preferred Attributes
  • Interest in technology, energy, EVs, or industrial solutions
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach or B2B sales concepts
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
