Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Intern, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. IT Lead Generation and Research to identify potential customers and new business opportunities. o Build prospect lists using online tools, databases, and networking platforms.
2. Outreach & Engagement o Connect with prospects via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and professional networks. o Develop communication strategies to build trust and initiate conversations.
3. Sales Funnel Support to assist in qualifying leads, scheduling meetings, and managing follow-ups. o Support senior managers in moving prospects through the sales pipeline.
4. CRM Management to maintain accurate and updated client information in CRM tools. o Track interactions, meetings, and progress to ensure smooth client engagement.
5. Sales & Marketing Collaboration to work with marketing teams to align sales efforts with targeted campaigns. o Contribute to digital strategies that enhance brand visibility.
6. Market & Competitor Analysis: Study industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
o Provide insights to refine sales approaches and identify new opportunities.
7. B2B IT Sales Support to assist in presenting IT solutions to business clients across industries.
o Learn how to position technical offerings in a business context.
