Business Development Intern

Role Description

The Business Development Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, supporting lead generation activities, and assisting in building a strong client pipeline. The person in this position will engage with prospective and existing clients, present company services, and support account management tasks such as follow-ups, coordination, and basic client servicing. Day-to-day responsibilities include research on potential markets, outreach through calls and meetings, maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools, and collaborating with the design and management teams to align business development efforts with project goals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in New Business Development and Business to support growth initiatives and market expansion.
• Candidates should possess skills in Lead Generation to identify, qualify, and nurture prospective clients.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to present services clearly, build relationships, and collaborate with internal teams.
• Candidates should possess skills in Account Management to assist with client follow-up, coordination, and basic relationship maintenance.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field are beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of sales processes, comfort with field visits and client meetings, and proficiency with MS Office or CRM tools are preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team-oriented, design-focused environment are desirable.
• Candidate must have a vehicle as this role also involves site visits and sales.
