About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented intern to support our Business Development (BD) team by scheduling and managing appointments with hoteliers. This role is critical in expanding our network in the hospitality industry and requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a keen interest in sales/business development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Appointment Scheduling: - Proactively reach out to hoteliers via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to book meetings for the BD team. - Coordinate schedules between internal stakeholders (BD managers) and external prospects (hoteliers, GM, sales teams). - Manage calendar invites, reminders, and follow-ups to ensure high attendance rates.
2. Lead Research & Outreach: - Identify and research potential hotel partners using tools like LinkedIn, industry directories, and company databases. - Maintain a clean CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) or tracking sheet with updated contact details and interaction logs.
3. Communication & Follow-Up: - Draft professional emails/cold outreach messages to engage hoteliers. - Handle objections (e.g., not interested, busy schedule) and redirect to BD team when needed. - Confirm appointments and send preparatory materials (e.g., agendas, company profiles) to both parties.
4. Reporting & Support: - Track metrics (e.g., calls made, meetings booked, conversion rates) and report weekly to the BD team. - Assist with post-meeting follow-ups (e.g., thank-you emails, feedback collection).
