Business Development Intern

Citta Comida works closely with cafs, restaurants, and catering businesses as a B2B bakery and food solutions brand. We supply breads, bakes, snacks, and desserts with a focus on quality, consistency, and reliability. As we grow, we also plan to expand into hobby-based baking and food classes for the public & a sit down caf in Mumbai.

This role sits at the center of business growth and internal structure. You will work directly with the Founder and CFO, helping generate new business while also bringing clarity, organization, and follow-through to daily operations and finance-related workflows.

Business Development & Sales Support

Identify and connect with cafs, restaurants, caterers, and food businesses

Support lead generation, follow-ups, and client onboarding

Coordinate tastings, samples, and feedback

Maintain simple lead and client tracking systems

Assist with proposals, pricing discussions, and account growth

Founder's Office Support

Help organize priorities, meetings, and follow-ups for the Founder

Prepare summaries, notes, and basic presentations

Assist in building structure between sales, production, and logistics

Conduct basic market and competitor research

Finance & CFO Office Support

Assist with invoicing, billing follow-ups, and payment tracking

Maintain expense and Tally sheets

Coordinate with accounts for receivables and documentation

Support budgeting and reporting preparation

Operations & Future Expansion

Track orders from confirmation to delivery

Help streamline internal processes and documentation

Support planning and coordination for future hobby-based classes and workshops

Work on progressive plan towards the sit down cafe

Someone comfortable with communication, coordination, and follow-ups

Interested in sales, business building, and food hospitality

Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented

Comfortable working closely with leadership

Internship or early-career candidates welcome

Direct exposure to Founder and CFO decision-making

Hands-on experience across sales, finance, and operations
