We work closely with businesses at key moments of growth- launch, expansion, fundraising, repositioning, hiring, or new product introductions.
About the Role:
We are looking for aBusiness Development & Growth Associateto drive client acquisition and revenue growth for Barakhadee.
This role is for someone who understands what thoughtful storytelling and well-crafted content can unlock for a business, someone who can engage founders and marketing teams in meaningful conversations about building a strong and consistent brand presence.
We work with a specific kind of client: teams that value clarity, quality, and long-term thinking over quick, transactional output.
This is not a volume-driven cold outreach role. It is a relationship-led role that requires strong judgment, credible networks, and the ability to convert conversations into long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute lead generation strategies across fashion, lifestyle, F&B, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, and technology sectors
Identify and engage founders, marketing heads, and decision-makers aligned with Barakhadee's positioning
Build and nurture a pipeline of high-quality prospects through networking, referrals, industry forums, and strategic outreach
Manage the full sales cycle- from first conversation to proposal development to closure
Close mid to high-value projects across brand films, campaigns, content retainers, and launch communication
Create proposals and presentations that reflect the strategic thinking and creative depth of Barakhadee's work
Build long-term relationships with clients to enable repeat engagements and ongoing collaborations
Represent Barakhadee at relevant industry events and networking platforms
Collaborate with internal creative and production teams to ensure smooth onboarding and project handover
Track industry trends, emerging brands, and new business opportunities to keep Barakhadee well-positioned in the market
Who We're Looking For:
35 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales preferably within branding, content, production, marketing, or creative agencies
Demonstrated ability to close mid to high-value projects (10 lakhs and above)
Strong network within founder-led businesses, consumer brands, healthcare, manufacturing, or technology sectors is a significant advantage
Clear understanding of the difference between commodity content and strategic brand communication
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to build trust with founders, marketing leaders, and senior decision-makers
Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Strategic thinker with good judgment on which opportunities align with Barakhadee's work
Familiarity with CRM tools, proposal software, and standard business tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
