Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Coimbatore. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, including schools, coaching centers, and other potential institutional or enterprise clients. Responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and product presentations, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact to closure. The role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating with internal teams to customize solutions, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. The Business Development Executive will also track market trends, prepare sales reports, and contribute to strategies that expand VR Akademeia's presence in the education and VR learning space.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with experience identifying and converting prospective clients.
  • Strong Business acumen, including understanding of sales funnels, negotiation, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including presentation, interpersonal, and client engagement abilities.
  • Experience in Account Management, with a focus on nurturing long-term client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in sales or business development.
  • Experience in edtech, SaaS, VR/AR, or education services is an advantage.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, basic sales reporting, and working toward defined targets and KPIs.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
