Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Salem. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, and promote Unitos Aero Drone's mapping, survey, inspection, and surveillance services. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, generating leads, preparing proposals, delivering presentations and demonstrations, and negotiating commercial terms in coordination with the internal team. The role will also involve collaborating with technical and operations teams to align client requirements with service capabilities, tracking sales performance, and contributing to strategic growth plans. The Business Development Executive is expected to represent the company at meetings, events, and industry forums, and provide regular reports and insights to management.
Qualifications
  • Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation.
  • Experience in market research, opportunity assessment, and developing go-to-market strategies for technology or service-based offerings.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to drones, mapping, survey, inspection, and data services to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and proficiency in preparing proposals and commercial documents.
  • Comfort using CRM tools, productivity software, and basic data analysis to track pipelines, performance, and customer insights.
  • Proactive, target-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; experience in drone technology, GIS, surveying, or allied domains is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Salem and travel to client locations or industry events as required.
