Role Overview
As a Business Development Executive at First500Days, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships, and showcasing our tech & IT offerings. This role demands a proactive professional with strong sales skills, a solid understanding of technology solutions, and the ability to communicate value effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Generate, qualify, and convert leads for Tech & IT services (software, SaaS, cloud, digital transformation, etc.).
Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, calls, and networking channels to acquire new clients.
Understand client technical requirements and collaborate with the product/technical teams to propose tailored solutions.
Prepare proposals, sales decks, pricing sheets, and solution presentations.
Manage the full sales cyclefrom prospecting to closing deals.
Maintain CRM records, track pipelines, and prepare weekly sales reports.
Assist in client meetings, demos, and negotiations.
Stay updated on technology trends, competitor offerings, and market changes.
Work closely with marketing and technical teams to enhance sales effectiveness.
Meet monthly and quarterly business development targets.
Qualifications & Skills
23 years of experience in Business Development or Sales specifically in Tech, IT services, SaaS, or software solutions.
Strong understanding of IT services, digital solutions, or software technologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Experience in generating leads and closing deals in B2B segments.
Familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Ability to manage multiple conversations and projects simultaneously.
