Role Description
This is a full-time role, for an Business Development Executive for Cybersecurity Products and Services. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating leads, managing accounts, and driving sales of cybersecurity products and services. The day-to-day tasks include identifying potential clients, presenting and demonstrating solutions, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Growth
oIdentify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for cybersecurity products and solutions.
oDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
oBuild and maintain a strong sales pipeline acrossGovernment / PSU sectors.
oConduct product presentations, demos, and technical discussions with customers.
oSchedule and conduct client meetings, either by phone or in person, to make sales, obtain work orders, and respond to RFPs and other sales activities.
oContinuously working to expand the client base through relationship growth, marketing, and promotional activities.
oMaintain strong post-sales relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term strategic partnerships
oCreate customized training proposals, quotations, and presentations based on client requirements
Customer Engagement
oUnderstand customer needs, pain points, and security challenges to recommend appropriate solutions.
oMaintain long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
oCoordinate with technical teams to deliver proposals, PoCs, and solution designs.
Market & Product Expertise
oStay updated on cybersecurity trends, threats, and competitive offerings.
oProvide feedback to product and marketing teams to enhance offerings and positioning.
oRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements.
Partnership & Channel Development
oBuild strong relationships with technology vendors, distributors, and channel partners.
oSupport partner enablement, joint marketing activities, and deal registrations.
Qualification and Skills:
Required:
oBachelor's degree along with Over 3 years of experience in a similar position within the Information Security or Information Technology field, with a broad network of customers from Government Domain.
oStrong understanding of cybersecurity products such as firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, IAM, Security Awareness Platform andGood understanding of business operations in the Information Security field (understanding of customers, Compliance etc.).
oAbility to work independently and meet sales targets.
Preferred
oExperience working with cybersecurity vendors (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Trend Micro, Microsoft Security).
oExisting network of customers and partners in the cybersecurity domain.
Skills:
oGood communication and persuasion skills, clear and concise presentation.
oProficiency in sales and relationship management skills
