Role Description
The Business Development executive will be responsible for business analysis, documentation, drafting, negotiating, and overseeing contracts. A strategic administrator who safeguards the firm's interests, fostering successful project outcomes through meticulous process/contract management. Must be a custodian of the Studio's systems and processes, and thus contribute towards the organization's higher performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Well-understand Clients aspirations and objectives for their project. Effectively and efficiently manage the relationship through timely communication for information requests or progress updates, and importantly, concern/grievance escalation.
- Draft, evaluate and execute contracts. Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension, or renewal as appropriate.
- Document and proactively manage the deal pipeline to move all ongoing leads towards closure.
- Help design, document and maintain various systems, processes and procedures related to analysis and reporting.
- Prepare reports for various business functions/ meetings/ workshops capturing the relevant key metrics.
Requirements Skill-sets and Knowledge
- Understanding of contract law and ability to draft and review contracts effectively, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with contractual agreements, ensuring that the firm is protected from potential liabilities.
- Good understanding of the broader business/economic landscape of our operating geographies, and current organisational priorities, to support new business acquisition.
- Ability to take initiative and effectively plan own work-stream to meet deadlines
- Strong teamworking abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (advanced CAD drafting skills), MS Office suite (particularly Excel), and data visualization techniques.
- Must have an eye for detail and quality output.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Will be responsible for responding to new business opportunities to set up a call/meeting with the team.
- Self-driven to learn to improve knowledge and skills required to excel at the role.
