Business Development Executive (BDE) Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation

Reporting To: Business Development Manager / Head of Sales

Role Summary

Teceze is looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive new business growth through outbound prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation. The primary objective of this role is to identify and engage potential customers, qualify opportunities, and schedule Microsoft Teams meetings for the senior sales team.

This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, target-driven, and comfortable speaking to decision-makers in IT, procurement, and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Conduct daily outbound calls to prospects across assigned regions and segments.
  • Run structured outreach campaigns using cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Research target accounts, identify key stakeholders (CIO, IT Director, Procurement, HR, etc.), and build high-quality prospect lists.
  • Qualify leads based on agreed criteria (budget, need, authority, timeline, fit).

2. Meeting Scheduling (Microsoft Teams)

  • Schedule Microsoft Teams meetings for senior sales leaders / solution consultants with qualified prospects.
  • Manage and coordinate calendars, send invites, and ensure all relevant details (agenda, participants, context) are captured.
  • Follow up with prospects to confirm attendance and reschedule if required.

3. Pipeline Management & CRM Hygiene

  • Log all interactions (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches, meetings) in the CRM accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of leads and opportunities with clear next steps.
  • Prepare basic reports on activity (calls made, meetings booked, leads generated, conversions, etc.).

4. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing

  • Work closely with the sales team to understand target industries, service offerings, and ideal customer profiles.
  • Coordinate with marketing on campaigns, follow-up lists, and messaging.
  • Share feedback from the market (objections, competitor insights, customer needs) to refine pitches and campaigns.

5. Sales Support & Follow-Up

  • Send follow-up emails after initial conversations and meetings (recaps, next steps, sharing decks, etc.).
  • Support the sales team with basic information gathering, prospect intel, and contact validation.
  • Nurture early-stage leads until they are ready to be handed over as qualified opportunities.

Key Metrics (KPIs)

  • Number of outbound calls made per day / week.
  • Number of Teams meetings scheduled with qualified prospects.
  • Conversion rate from contact meeting qualified lead.
  • Volume and quality of new leads added to the pipeline.
  • CRM accuracy and data quality.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 13 years of experience in Business Development / Inside Sales / Tele-Sales (IT services or B2B tech preferred).
  • Strong verbal communication skills and confidence in making outbound calls.
  • Good written communication skills for emails and LinkedIn messaging.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho), and basic productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to quickly understand and articulate Teceze's services (IT support, FSO, Digital Workplace, Infra services, etc.).
  • Target-driven mindset with resilience and the ability to handle rejection.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
