About StartupFlora

StartupFlora is the business consultancy division of Acolyte Technologies Pvt. Ltd., dedicated to helping startups and SMEs access government grants, funding schemes, accelerators, and incubator programs. We work closely with entrepreneurs to ensure they get the right resources, advice, and support for growth and innovation.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Associate (BDA) to join our growing team. As a BDA, you will be responsible for lead generation, client acquisition, partnership building, and driving sales for our business consultancy services. You will play a key role in the growth of StartupFlora by reaching out to potential clients, understanding their needs, and converting them into long-term partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify potential clients in the startup and SME ecosystem, qualify leads, and initiate contact
  • Client Acquisition: Pitch StartupFlora's services and solutions, addressing client needs and building lasting relationships
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client challenges and propose suitable solutions to help them access grants, funding, and business support
  • Sales Target Achievement: Drive sales efforts to meet monthly/quarterly targets
  • Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, funding schemes, and competitor services to adapt our offerings
  • Collaboration: Work closely with consultants, business analysts, and leadership to develop proposals and close deals

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 0–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition (consultancy or service-based background is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven negotiation and relationship management abilities
  • Self-driven with the ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with business consultancy services or startup funding landscape is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CRM tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in client acquisition or lead generation
  • Familiarity with startup ecosystems and government funding schemes
  • Exposure to online marketing or sales tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Compensation

₹1.8 LPA – ₹3.0 LPA (CTC)

(Salary/ Incentives may apply based on experience/sales performance)
