Role Overview

As a BDE, you will support SOLVIS®️ ecopower's B2B sales efforts in India by generating leads, building client relationships, and closing deals for our eco-friendly product range. You will manage your own sales pipeline, engage with distributors and corporate clients across target industries, and bring a proactive approach to how you plan and grow your book of business. As we're a growing startup, this role involves some flexibility to take on responsibilities beyond core sales as needed, along with regular on-field client visits and occasional travel for meetings and conferences. This role suits a motivated, sustainability-minded sales professional looking to build experience in B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Support execution of the B2B sales plan by targeting prospective accounts in hospitality, healthcare, and commercial industries.
• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, outreach, networking, and relationship-building with distributors and corporate clients.
• Conduct client meetings and product presentations, negotiate terms, and work towards assigned sales targets.
• Follow up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify upselling or renewal opportunities.
• Travel to other cities as needed for on-field client meetings, site visits, and industry conferences.
• Coordinate with marketing agencies and internal teams to ensure sales pitches align with brand messaging.
• Track market trends and competitor activity, sharing on-ground insights to help refine sales approaches.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, log sales activity, and report progress to leadership.
• Represent SOLVIS®️ ecopower at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to build brand visibility.
• Stay adaptable to evolving business needs, occasionally contributing to other departments or functions as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in FMCG, chemical, or sustainability-focused industries.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Odoo, Zoho, Salesforce) and MS Office.
• Familiarity with hospitality or corporate sectors is a plus.
• Passion for eco-friendly products and sustainability.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in any regional language is an advantage.
