Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and energetic Sales Engineer to join our field sales team in the construction chemicals industry. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates who are eager to build a career in sales and client engagement. The role involves lead generation, customer interaction, and on-ground market development.

Experience: 0-2

Location: Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai

Personal Vehicle Compulsory

Petrol Allowance will be given.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new leads through field visits, site visits, and networking
  • Visit construction sites, contractors, builders, and dealers to promote products
  • Collect and maintain accurate customer data and project information
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
  • Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable products/solutions
  • Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, orders, and deliveries
  • Track sales activities and report daily/weekly progress to the manager
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities

Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • 0–1 year of experience (Freshers with strong interest in sales can apply)
  • Willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of construction materials or chemicals (preferred)
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive attitude

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to build relationships quickly
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel / CRM tools
  • Strong negotiation and convincing skills
