Role Description

This full-time, on-site role in Pune involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities as a Business Development Executive or Sales Manager. Responsibilities include lead generation, creating and nurturing client relationships, and managing key accounts. The role requires an individual with a strategic mindset who can drive sales targets, provide excellent client communication, and contribute to revenue growth strategies.

Responsibilities

Build a sales pipeline and meet the sales targets by closing sales deals independently for multiple solutions offered by Advent.

Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.

Develop a strong knowledge of products and services offered by Advent to facilitate the sales process.

Identify opportunities, Generate Leads and convert them to build relationships with new clients.

Preparing reports and forecasts regularly as directed by the management.

Travel within India (50% -60% travel) for sales meetings and negotiations as and when needed.

Run targeted sales & marketing campaigns for business development in co-ordination with the team and get feedback from clients.

Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short-and long-term business development plans.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Graduate degree or higher in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Science, or related domains.

Experience with computation tools for drug discovery and Bioinformatics is an added advantage.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in the Life Science/ Informatics domain is desirable for Business Development Executive, and 5 Years of experience in a similar role in the Life Science/ Informatics domain is desirable for Sales Manager.

Excellent communication skills, vocal and written, coupled with receptive listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.

Strong analytical, networking, and management skills.

Hands-on experience with CRM software is an added advantage but not mandatory.

Skilful in preparing presentations to showcase the company's product portfolio.
