Pawmax is an AI-driven, integrated pet care ecosystem bringing together e-commerce, quick commerce, healthcare, services, and lifestyle solutions into one seamless platform. As we scale across India, we are building a robust retail, distribution, and private-label ecosystem to drive long-term growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking a result-oriented candidate to drive business development, distribution expansion, onboarding, and private-label growth for Pawmax.

This role involves managing channel partnerships, marketplace operations, vendor sourcing, and revenue growth, while ensuring strong execution through consistent follow-ups and stakeholder coordination. The position is designed to suit both managerial and execution-focused candidates who can take ownership of business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Drive lead generation, partner acquisition, and account management
  • Identify and onboard new retail chains and distribution partners
  • Ensure consistent pipeline movement through structured and persistent follow-ups
  • Track performance and implement strategies to improve conversion, retention, and revenue growth

2. Platform Onboarding & Partner Integration

  • Drive onboarding of brands, retailers, and distributors onto Pawmax
  • Ensure smooth catalog setup, pricing alignment, and inventory integration
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with partners for data sharing, approvals, and go-live readiness
  • Identify and resolve onboarding bottlenecks to ensure timely execution

3. Channel & Distribution Management

  • Build and manage relationships with retailers, distributors, and channel partners across India
  • Expand Pawmax's distribution network for private-label and partner brands
  • Ensure strong product availability across key markets (B2B & Online marketplaces) through continuous follow-ups with partners

4. Marketplace & E-commerce Coordination

  • Manage product listings, pricing, and content across marketplaces (Pawmax, Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit etc)
  • Coordinate with internal teams for campaigns, promotions, and pricing strategies
  • Monitor performance and improve visibility, conversion, and sales metrics

5. CRM & Process Management

  • Manage sales pipeline, leads, and partner interactions through CRM tools (Odoo / Microsoft 365)
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely updates through disciplined follow-ups
  • Improve operational workflows and data-driven decision-making

6. Operations & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams for order fulfillment and dispatch
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels and stock availability
  • Align with warehouse and delivery teams for smooth execution

7. Merchant & Partner Relationship Management

  • Manage end-to-end relationships with merchants, retailers, and distributors
  • Provide onboarding support, training, and ongoing coordination
  • Resolve operational and commercial issues through proactive follow-ups and communication

8. Product Sourcing & Private Label Development

  • Identify and evaluate product opportunities for private-label expansion
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for sourcing, pricing, and quality control
  • Conduct vendor comparisons, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost optimization
  • Maintain strong follow-ups with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance
