Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Executive responsible for generating new business opportunities through structured cold calling and market outreach. The role focuses on building a strong pipeline of qualified leads for the Category Management team and requires a highly proactive and performance-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Prospecting

  • Conduct daily cold calls to targeted businesses.
  • Introduce the company's products and services to potential clients.
  • Generate interest and identify potential business requirements.

Lead Qualification

  • Identify key decision-makers within organizations.
  • Understand business scale and packaging requirements.
  • Assess buying intent and purchase timelines.
  • Transfer only qualified leads with complete notes to the next stage of the sales pipeline.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate daily call records.
  • Update CRM or lead-tracking systems regularly.
  • Ensure structured handover of qualified leads.
  • Follow defined reporting and documentation processes.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of calls made per day.
  • Qualified leads generated per week.
  • Client conversions after payment confirmation.
  • Contribution to the overall sales pipeline.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: 1,80,000 per annum (15,000 per month)
  • Incentive: 500 per successful client conversion
  • Conversions are counted only after the first client payment is received.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in cold calling and outbound outreach.
  • Ability to handle objections professionally.
  • Consistency, discipline, and ability to maintain high daily activity levels.
