The Role

You will be the bridge between aspiring designers and the career transformation they're looking for. Your job is to help them find clarity, build confidence, and make decisions that change the direction of their careers - not push them into a purchase.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact role. You'll work directly with the Founder and Marketing team, and your work will directly shape how Mastry grows.

What You'll Do
  • Engage with prospective learners through video and phone calls, WhatsApp, and email - understanding their aspirations and guiding them through their decision-making journey
  • Build trust-based relationships with leads, ensuring they feel heard, informed, and supported at every step of their career transition
  • Run structured follow-up sequences that recover undecided leads and move them toward confident decisions
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to flag lead quality insights - what objections are coming up, what's causing drop-offs, what messaging is or isn't landing
  • Partner with program and operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff and onboarding experience for new learners
  • Maintain a clean, updated pipeline (CRM) so revenue is always predictable and nothing slips through the cracks
  • Achieve and exceed conversion targets while keeping a learner-first approach at all times
  • Gather feedback from prospects to continuously sharpen both the sales process and program positioning
Who You Are
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or learner success - ed-tech background is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English and Hindi (spoken and written); Marathi or other regional languages are a bonus
  • Someone who has sold transformational, high-consideration products or experiences - you know what it takes to earn a big decision
  • Strong communicator who can empathise with career anxiety, not just pitch past it
  • A self-starter who can thrive without a playbook already written for them
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and contributing to both execution and strategy
