Business Development Executive (BDE) drives company growth by identifying new market opportunities, generating sales leads, and building strategic partnerships. They are responsible for nurturing client relationships, conducting market research, and negotiating contracts to achieve revenue targets. The role often involves collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities and DutiesLead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify, research, and reach out to new business leads via cold calls, networking, and industry events.Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term, meaningful relationships with new and existing clients to ensure retention and upselling opportunities.Market Analysis & Strategy: Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market data to develop effective business strategies.Sales & Negotiation: Present products/services, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.Collaboration & Reporting: Work with marketing and product teams to align strategies and maintain accurate, updated client data in CRM systems.
