Role Description
We are seeking a Business Development Executive who can identify new business opportunities, nurture leads, and support the sales cycle for digital marketing services.
This role requires strong communication skills, a basic understanding of digital marketing, and the ability to convert prospective leads into qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Outreach
- Identify potential clients through LinkedIn, research, referrals & outbound activities
- Qualify leads based on industry, budget, and service requirements
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects
2. Sales Support & Coordination
- Conduct introductory calls and requirement discussions
- Schedule meetings and demos with the strategy/creative teams
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales decks (with support from the internal team)
- Follow up on leads and maintain timely communication
3. Understanding of Digital Services
- Build a strong grasp of digital offerings:
- Branding
- Social media marketing
- Website & Shopify development
- SEO
- Performance marketing
- Content services
- Communicate service value clearly to prospects
4. Pipeline & Reporting
- Update trackers and maintain accurate sales data
- Track weekly KPIs (calls, meetings, leads, conversions)
- Share weekly reports with leadership
5. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain rapport with potential and existing clients
- Assist senior team in onboarding new clients
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication (English, Hindi), pitching and negotiation skills
- Understanding of digital marketing services (SMM, SEO, Websites, Performance Marketing)
- Pipeline management
- Basic familiarity with AI tools for:
- Lead research (Apollo AI, Clay, LinkedIn AI)
- Drafting outreach messages & proposals (ChatGPT, Notion AI, Jasper)
- Automating follow-ups & personalization
- Ability to work target-driven and deliver measurable results
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Mass Media, or related field
- 0 - 2 years of experience in business development or sales (agency experience preferred)
- Experience interacting with small-to-mid business owners
