Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven
Business Development Executive to join our team and drive sales activities for our USA/UK/EU markets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted market research to identify and prioritize qualified leads across the USA, UK, and EU IT sectors, using cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement.
- Qualify prospects by uncovering business needs, decision-making authorities, budget, and timelines; schedule and conduct discovery meetings to capture detailed requirements.
- Manage and maintain an accurate sales pipeline in the CRM, ensuring activities, follow-ups, and lead statuses are logged and updated promptly.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to develop tailored proposals, coordinate product demos, and align on go-to-market strategies that improve conversion rates.
- Prepare and present professional proposals and commercial terms; negotiate scope and pricing within approved guidelines to drive deal closure.
- Track and report key performance indicators (e.g., leads generated, meetings scheduled, proposals sent, deals closed, and revenue won) on a weekly and monthly basis; provide forecasts and insights to the Sr. BDM.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, industry trends, and competitor activity to effectively position value propositions with prospects.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales development or business development within the IT services or software industry, with direct experience selling to USA/UK/EU markets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven track record of generating qualified leads, scheduling discovery meetings, and contributing to closed revenue (provide metrics where possible).
- Strong understanding of USA/UK/EU business culture and sales processes; experience working with US-based startups is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), lead-generation tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, outreach platforms), and online research tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (fluent); strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional and remote teams; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business development or enterprise sales, or demonstrated success in selling complex professional services.
- Experience with consultative selling and preparing commercial proposals for mid-to-large deals.
- Familiarity with AI/ML products or technical solutions and the ability to discuss technical requirements with prospects.
- Additional language skills (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are advantageous for EU market coverage.
- Certifications in sales, negotiation, or related professional development programs.
- Knowledge of GDPR and EU data/privacy considerations when engaging prospects in European markets.
