Role Purpose
To generate new business opportunities through field visits, cold calling, and client meetings for engineering software solutions (CAD/CAE). The role focuses on lead generation, client interaction, and supporting the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct field visits to industrial areas, manufacturing companies, and engineering firms for value addition to customer in the area of CAD. CAE , Engineering Services
· Generate leads through cold calling, walk-ins, references, and networking
· Fix appointments and meetings with decision-makers (Design Heads, Engineers, Purchase teams)
· Understand basic customer requirements and coordinate with senior sales/technical team
· Support in product demos and presentations (training will be provided)
· Maintain daily activity reports (calls, visits, leads)
· Build and maintain good relationships with clients
· Follow up with prospects and update CRM/reporting system
· Achieve monthly activity and sales targets
Qualification
· Diploma / BE / BTech (Mechanical / Civil / Production / Automobile preferred)
· MBA (Marketing) can also apply
Experience
· 0 to 2 years (Freshers are welcome)
· Any internship / project in sales or marketing is an advantage
Required Skills
Must Have:
· Good communication skills (English + local language)
· Willingness to do field sales (daily travel)
· Basic understanding of engineering concepts
· Confidence to talk to new people
Good to Have (Not Mandatory):
· Basic knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks, etc.)
· Interest in technical/software sales
