Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Gurugram. The Business Development Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, and conduct outreach to potential clients in the publishing and book marketing ecosystem. Responsibilities include generating leads through various channels, conducting discovery calls, presenting HubHawks services, and preparing customized proposals. The role involves managing client accounts, nurturing long-term relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery. The Business Development Executive will also track sales performance, provide market feedback, and contribute to strategies that support revenue growth and brand expansion.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to identify prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Strong understanding of Business development principles and Account Management to manage pipelines, negotiate terms, and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
  • Experience in sales or business development, ideally in publishing, media, marketing services, or related industries.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email platforms).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Collaborative mindset, professional work ethic, and openness to learning about the book marketing and publishing landscape.
