Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will support regional sales growth by driving lead generation, managing channel partner relationships, and executing sales initiatives across the South region. This role requires high energy, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel extensively to build and grow partner-driven revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly report progress to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Accurately forecast sales based on pipeline activity and market trends.
- Support execution of regional sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
Channel Partner Management
- Support onboarding of new channel partners and distributors.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing channel partners to drive consistent sales growth.
- Conduct regular partner visits to ensure product availability and effective sales execution.
- Assist channel partners with sales support and relationship management.
Market & Marketing Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute partner-focused promotional campaigns and sales materials.
- Gather market feedback, customer insights, and competitor intelligence to support strategic decisions.
Territory Management
- Travel extensively across the assigned territory to generate leads, support partners, and drive business revenue.
- Manage time effectively to cover the territory efficiently and meet business goals.
Skills & Experience
- 13 years of experience in sales or business development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Basic consultative selling skills with effective follow-up techniques
- Confident in product presentations and handling objections
- Good organizational and time management abilities
