This is a pure hunting role focused exclusively on new business acquisition and revenue generation.

Position Overview

The New Business Development Executive will be responsible for developing new business opportunities for Grapes Worldwide's Media practice. The successful candidate will identify prospective clients, build strategic relationships with senior marketing decision-makers, lead consultative sales engagements, and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.

• Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development

• Develop and execute outbound business development strategies to acquire new clients across regional and international markets.
• Identify high-value prospects through market intelligence, networking, industry research, referrals, and strategic outreach.
• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline aligned with business growth objectives.
• Own the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract closure.

Client Acquisition

• Engage with CMOs, Marketing Directors, Brand Leaders, Digital Heads, Procurement Teams, Founders, and Business Leaders.
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand business challenges, marketing objectives, and growth priorities.
• Position Grapes Worldwide as a strategic growth partner rather than a service provider.
• Deliver compelling capability presentations and consultative solution pitches.
• Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations.

Revenue Growth

• Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual new business revenue targets.
• Increase agency billings through strategic client acquisition.
• Maximize account value through integrated service offerings.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities during the sales process.

Market Intelligence

Continuously monitor:

• Global media trends
• Emerging advertising technologies
• AI in marketing
• Consumer behaviour
• Competitive agency landscape
• Digital transformation initiatives
• Industry investment patterns

Strategic Partnerships

• Build relationships with media owners, technology partners, publishers, and industry associations.
• Represent Grapes Worldwide at conferences, networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums.
• Expand referral and partnership channels.

Proposal Development

Collaborate with internal teams to develop:

• Integrated media strategies
• Commercial proposals
• RFP responses
• Capability presentations
• Pitch decks
• Media recommendations
• Business cases
• Client-specific solutions

to ensure seamless client acquisition and onboarding.

• RequiredQualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in Business Development, Agency Sales, Media Sales, or Marketing Solutions.
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets.
