The Business Development Executive plays a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of the organization. They are responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company's business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue business opportunities specifically in the fragrance segment personal care, fabric care, air care, and industrial applications. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients, product categories, and ongoing projects.
- Coordinate fragrance sampling, feedback collection, and formulation support with internal stakeholders.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers including marketing heads, R&D teams, and purchase departments.
- Create and present compelling business proposals
- Participate in negotiations and close deals to achieve sales targets
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's services
- Track sales funnel, manage project status updates, and share weekly performance reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
