Role Oveview
The Business Development Executive will drive growth for SafeHalo's safety-focused products across automotive, transportation, defense, and institutional sectors. The role involves engaging with large platforms (e.g., bus aggregators like redbus), fleet operators, government/defense bodies, and educational institutions to deploy solutions related to road safety and suicide prevention. This is a high-impact, client-facing role requiring strong stakeholder management and execution skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and onboard partners in the transport ecosystem (bus aggregators, fleet owners, operators)
• Build relationships with companies such as intercity mobility platforms and private bus operators
• Drive enterprise sales for automotive safety products (hardware + software solutions)
• Engage with government and defense organizations (e.g., Air Force, public sector units) for safety deployments
• Work with schools, colleges, and institutions to introduce and scale suicide prevention solutions
• Manage long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and approvals
• Conduct product demos, pilot programs, and field deployments
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to tailor solutions based on client needs
• Maintain CRM, track pipeline, and report revenue forecasts
• Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and on-ground activations
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
• 1–5 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or partnerships
• Strong ability to engage with B2B and institutional clients
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle complex, multi-stakeholder deals
• Willingness to travel frequently for meetings and deployments
• Self-driven with a high ownership mindset
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in automotive, mobility, IoT, or safety products
• Exposure to government or defense sales processes
• Experience working with transport operators, fleets, or aggregators (e.g., bus networks)
• Understanding of mental health / safety solutions deployment in institutions
• Familiarity with tenders, procurement cycles, and compliance requirements
