Overview

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Technical Sales Executive to drive sales growth and build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will understand customer needs, present technical product solutions, generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and support clients throughout the sales cycle. This position is ideal for individuals looking to combine their technical knowledge with sales expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, emails, meetings, and inbound inquiries.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients across retail, recycling, corporate, and government sectors.
  • Understand client requirements and propose suitable products and solutions.
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, and presentations in coordination with technical teams.
  • Conduct meetings, product briefings, and solution discussions with prospective clients.
  • Track sales pipeline, follow-ups, and closures to meet business targets.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and operations teams for smooth project execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide strategic inputs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare weekly/monthly business development reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 13 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical or solution-based offerings and communicate value to clients.
  • Target-oriented mindset with strong follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with field-based sales activities.
  • Willingness to travel as per business requirements.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in B2B sales, industrial products, machinery, or solution selling.
  • Basic understanding of technical products or sustainability solutions.
  • Strong presentation and documentation skills.
  • Exposure to sustainability, recycling, waste management, or environmental solutions.
  • Experience in dealing with government bodies, CSR teams, or institutional clients.
  • Knowledge of proposal documentation, tenders, and basic commercial terms.
