Primary Title: Business Development Executive
About The Opportunity
A fast-growing organization in the Education Technology (EdTech) sector focused on delivering SaaS learning solutions and digital learning experiences to schools, higher-education institutions, and corporate L&D teams across India. We are hiring an on-site Business Development Executive to drive new revenue, expand market reach, and convert high-intent prospects into long-term customers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end sales cycle for assigned territory/accountsfrom prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and closureto achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Generate and qualify leads via outbound outreach (cold calling, email), LinkedIn, events, and inbound enquiries; build a predictable pipeline with defined conversion metrics.
- Manage and update CRM records, maintain accurate opportunity forecasts, and produce regular sales reports for leadership.
- Prepare customised proposals and commercial terms for schools, universities, and corporate clients; lead contract discussions to close deals.
- Coordinate with product, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and identify upsell/renewal opportunities.
- Track competitor activity and market trends; provide actionable feedback to the marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market strategies.
