Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Bengaluru. The Business Development Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and conduct outreach through calls, emails, meetings, and networking events. Daily responsibilities include understanding client needs, presenting Digikit's services and solutions, preparing proposals, and supporting negotiations to close deals. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams (strategy, creative, media, and account management) to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and alignment of expectations. The Business Development Executive will track performance metrics, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and contribute insights to refine sales strategies and market positioning.

Qualifications

  • Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with the ability to proactively identify, qualify, and nurture prospects.
  • The candidate is expected to meet clients at their location, which involves field sales and inbound sales.
  • Solid understanding of business growth, digital marketing services, and market dynamics, with the ability to translate client needs into practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to build rapport, conduct persuasive pitches, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience in client relationship and account management, ensuring smooth onboarding, retention, and growth of key accounts.
  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a digital marketing, advertising, or media agency environment.
  • Comfort working with CRM and productivity tools to manage pipelines, track activities, and report performance.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and time management skills, with a results-oriented and collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
