We are looking for a proactive, target-driven Business Development Executive to support our growth. This role combines outbound telemarketing and lead qualification with field visits and face-to-face client meetings.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable making first contact through calls, qualifying prospects, booking meetings, and then following through with in-person presentations and deal closure. This is not a purely desk-based role and requires regular client visits across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Telemarketing
- Make outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce IT solutions and services
- Engage professionally with receptionists, office managers, and decision-makers
- Qualify leads by understanding client needs, budgets, and decision timelines
- Secure permission for follow-up communication and book introductory meetings
- Maintain accurate call notes, lead status, and follow-ups in CRM or tracking tools
2. Field Sales & Client Engagement
- Conduct field visits and client meetings to present tailored IT solutions
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations aligned with customer needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals to achieve sales targets
3. Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with technical and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
- Provide regular updates on pipeline, forecasts, and conversion metrics to management
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry meetings as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in business development, IT sales, or B2B outbound sales
- Proven experience in telemarketing, lead qualification, and client meetings
- Strong understanding of IT products and services (software, cloud, infrastructure, or digital solutions)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage both phone-based and field sales activities
- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience with an existing client network
- Experience selling to healthcare, dental, or professional services is an advantage
- CRM experience (Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar tools)
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel for client meetings
- Goal-oriented, disciplined, and strong in follow-up and closure
